Our Community

For nearly two decades, Cole Coffee has been your destination for craft coffee and community at the corner of College Avenue and 63rd Street in Oakland. It’s the place to purchase Organic Coffee beans ground to order, specialty teas, healthy breakfast and lunch options and coffee brewing equipment.

Today, neighborhood locals and visitors alike form a close-knit community who appreciate the most eclectic cup in the East Bay, always expertly sourced, roasted, and prepared.

Our bean shop is your one-stop shop for coffee beans, ground to order, as well as loose-leaf teas and brewing equipment. With 24 rotating varieties of mostly Single Origin and Organic coffees from around the globe, a cup from Cole Coffee makes your world that much wider.

Speak to one of our knowledgeable baristas about which blend and roast is right for your at-home brews. Or broaden your palate with our limited edition coffee of the month, roasted exclusively for Cole customers. We exclusively offer Organic and Fair trade coffees with the largest selection of bulk beans in the East Bay.

The Café

Sit down and stay a while!

Just around the corner from our Bean Shop on a buzzy corner of Oakland is our café with a retro vibe. We serve up healthy deliciously prepared breakfasts of our Famous Poached eggs, hand cut meats for craft sandwiches, waffles and baked goods all locally sourced.

Stay for a while in our bright café or enjoy people watching at our outdoor sidewalk tables.
